HealthPRO Canada News
From the Desk of Christine
As we reflect on a transformative year at HealthPRO Canada, I am incredibly proud of the progress we’ve made and energized about our plans for future growth. From being recognized as a Great Place to Work® to welcoming six new members to our network, we’ve advanced innovation, sustainability, and partnerships across Canada’s healthcare system. Explore how we’re building on these successes to drive meaningful change in 2025.
2024 was a year of growth, transformation, and collaboration at HealthPRO Canada. Highlights include:
- Great Place to Work® Recognition: We were proud to be named a Great Place to Work® for the third year running and, for the first time, recognized as a Great Place to Work in Healthcare. These achievements reflect our team’s dedication, collaboration, and shared commitment to advancing healthcare.
- Expanded Network: We welcomed six new members this year, including Social Services Sault Ste. Marie, Children’s Aid Society Thunder Bay District, Horizon Health Network (NB), County of Peterborough and Regional Municipality of Peel, First Nations Health Authority (BC), and Muskoka Algonquin Healthcare. Their addition strengthens our ability to deliver innovative solutions and maximize impact across Canada.
- Sustainability Leadership: HealthPRO Canada became a Certified B Corporation, highlighting our commitment to balancing profit with purpose. Additionally, we launched a Supplier-Led Sustainability Committee, and were recertified as an Indigenous Procurement Champion as a result of our efforts to establish and work toward reaching an Indigenous spend target at the corporate level.
- Innovation in Healthcare: Through our Innovation Accelerator Program, we fast-tracked creative solutions to market, with 19 pricing agreements already in place and more to come. This program ensures that transformative innovations reach healthcare providers and patients faster, improving outcomes and strengthening the healthcare system.
- Advocacy and Collaboration: We actively engaged with government leaders, healthcare stakeholders, and industry experts through conferences, roundtables, and discussions. Highlights include our partnership with the National Institute of Supply Chain Leaders (NISCL) and the launch of the Healthcare Supply Chain Playbook, offering actionable strategies for resilience and adaptability.
Looking ahead, we’re committed to driving innovation, advancing sustainability, and providing our members with the tools and resources needed to thrive in an ever-changing healthcare environment. Thank you for your partnership and dedication to our shared mission. Together, we’re making a meaningful difference.
