HealthPRO Canada is pleased to welcome the County of Peterborough to its membership! 

Peterborough County represents eight local municipalities and serves approximately 64,000 residents, plus a large seasonal population, across 4,000 square kilometers.  

The County consists of various towns, villages, and hamlets that complement and support each other, with primary industries including agriculture, tourism, light to medium manufacturing, service businesses, creative entrepreneurs, and innovation.  

Did you know that the major Canadian production facility for Quaker Oats is located in Peterborough, Ontario? The factory was first established as the American Cereal Company in 1902 on the shores of the Otonabee River during Peterborough's period of industrialization. At the time, the city was known as "The Electric City" due to its hydropower resources, attracting many companies to the site to take advantage of this source.  

We are thrilled to welcome Peterborough to our national membership – so they can benefit from the largest buying power of the products and solutions they need to care for their residents.
