In November 2016, updated National Association of Pharmacy Regulatory Authorities (NAPRA) Model Standards for Pharmacy Compounding of Hazardous and Non-Hazardous Sterile Preparations were approved.  HealthPRO’s new Pharmacy Compounding Software Solution contracts — and first software contracts for HealthPRO — can help members meet these standards.

As a result of our early engagement with suppliers, as well as a high level of participation and collaboration with members from various provinces during the scoping process, HealthPRO was able to create two tailored software contracts to meet the needs of members working toward NAPRA compliance.

Contract #05221 – Pharmacy Compounding Compliance & Quality Management Software Solution (QMS) Pharmacy sterile compounding quality assurance and compliance management software solution that meets the NAPRA Model Standards for Pharmacy Compounding of Hazardous and Non-Hazardous Sterile Preparations.

Contract #05222 – Pharmacy Camera Verification Workflow Solution (IV Workflow) This solution is a fully developed IV workflow management system that includes a camera verification system that allows documentation and validation of compounding process.  The solution could use high resolution images, gravimetric, volumetric, or barcode verification.

With significant commitment across the country, these multi-supplier contracts enable members to select a supplier that best suits their needs.
