HealthPRO Canada is pleased to welcome Niagara Region as one of its newest members.

Situated between Lake Ontario and Lake Erie, Niagara is a diverse community of 12 municipalities supported by essential regional services. These include paramedic and emergency medical dispatch services, seniors’ services and other programs that contribute to the health and well-being of residents across the region.

Through its new HealthPRO Canada membership, Niagara Region will have access to additional procurement support for two vital areas of community care: Niagara Emergency Medical Services (Niagara EMS) and Niagara Region’s long-term care homes. Niagara EMS provides 24-hour emergency pre-hospital medical care and transportation across 1,850 square kilometres, while Niagara Region operates eight long-term care homes in communities throughout Niagara.

Niagara Region joins a growing group of municipalities working with HealthPRO Canada to simplify procurement for EMS and long-term care operations. By providing access to competitively awarded national procurement agreements and dedicated implementation support, HealthPRO Canada helps municipal teams reduce the time and resources required to source essential products. This reflects HealthPRO Canada’s broader municipal positioning around reducing procurement effort and helping public-sector teams direct more time and resources toward the needs of their community.

HealthPRO Canada offers contracts across a wide range of categories that support EMS and long-term care operations. Depending on their procurement needs, municipal members may leverage solutions for defibrillators and monitors, stretchers and patient-handling equipment, clinical supplies, PPE, cleaning and disinfection products, pharmacy solutions, and nutrition and food services. These are among the categories municipal, EMS and long-term care members use to support their day-to-day operations.

With this membership, Niagara Region also joins a national network of more than 2,000 healthcare facilities and public service organizations using collective procurement strength and shared expertise to support care. Its addition further strengthens HealthPRO Canada’s growing municipal membership and reinforces the value of collaboration across organizations delivering essential local services.

We look forward to working with Niagara Region to support frontline paramedics, long-term care teams and the residents who rely on these essential services every day.
