As Canada’s largest city, Toronto delivers a broad range of essential public services to residents, businesses, and visitors. These include Toronto Paramedic Services, which provides 24/7 pre-hospital emergency care, transportation, and community health services across a diverse and growing city. 

Access to Cooperative Purchasing Agreements 

City divisions operate in complex, fast-paced environments where access to essential products and services, operational readiness, and responsible use of public resources are important priorities. 

Through its membership with HealthPRO Canada, the City can access cooperative purchasing agreements that may help support operational requirements and efficiency. These resources complement the City’s existing procurement methods.  

Exploring Opportunities Across the City 

Through its membership with HealthPRO Canada, the City of Toronto can explore cooperative purchasing opportunities that support the evolving procurement needs of its divisions and services.  

Such opportunities may be considered across a range of municipal operations, including emergency and community services, long-term care, public health, recreational facilities, and administrative functions, where appropriate. 

Participation in HealthPRO Canada agreements will be considered in accordance with the City’s procurement policies, processes, governance framework, and applicable requirements.
