Scott Bishop

Scott Bishop is a finance professional with over 20 years of progressive experience who is currently Vice President of Corporate Services within Newfoundland and Labrador Health Services. Scott holds accountabilities for all aspects of financial services, budgeting, and financial reporting, as well as other corporate services including supply chain and procurement, legal services, protection services as well as capital planning and engineering. Scott also serves as the organization’s Chief Financial Officer and has worked in both the public and private sectors during his professional career.

Prior to his role with Memorial University, Scott served as Vice President of Corporate Services and Chief Financial Officer with Newfoundland and Labrador Health Services. He previously joined Eastern Health in 2010 and held progressive finance leadership roles, culminating in his appointment as Vice President of Corporate Services and CFO. Prior to his work with Eastern Health, Scott held progressive finance roles in the software development industry in the province of Ontario.

Scott holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Co-operative) Degree from Memorial University and is also a member of the Association of Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPA). He is currently a member of the Canadian College of Health Leaders (CCHL) and holds the designation of Certified Health Executive (CHE).
