Mark Fam

Mark Fam is the President and CEO of Oak Valley Health, and serves as the Vice-Chair of the HealthPRO Canada Board of Directors. Mark is an accomplished executive with progressive leadership experience across the health care continuum. He brings a solid understanding of industry trends, supported by experience across hospital, provincial agency and health care consulting.

A Certified Health Executive, Mark has 20+ years working in the health system, where he developed expertise in health system strategy, operations and planning, service integration, community engagement, governance and quality improvement at the local and regional levels.

Mark demonstrates an ongoing commitment to health care through his active participation in the Canadian College of Health Leaders, with roles on the Professional Standards Council, as a CHE Reviewer, and was involved in the early design of LEADS. Mark serves in a volunteer capacity on the HealthPRO Canada Board of Directors, and as a member or leader on several past boards.

Mark also contributes to new learners in the health system through his work as an Assistant Professor with the Institute for Health Policy, Management and Evaluation, and Associate Professor at the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto.
