Cynthia Valaitis, CSCMP
President and Chief Executive Officer
Cynthia is President and Chief Executive Officer of HealthPRO, Canada’s group contracting provider for healthcare. Leveraging 25 years of experience in healthcare procurement, she guides the strategic direction of the business and the management of several billion dollars in contract value.
Cynthia joined HealthPRO upon its inception in 1996 and, during her tenure, has held several executive roles including Vice President of Business Development.
Cynthia is a member of the GS1 Canada Carenet Healthcare Sector Board. She holds a Supply Chain Management Professional (SCMP) designation with the Supply Chain Management Association of Canada (SCMA) and was recognized as one of 100 Influential Women in Canadian Supply Chain by the SCMA in 2019.
John Green, CPA, CMA
Vice President, Finance and Corporate Affairs
John leads the finance and information technology functions at HealthPRO.
Prior to joining the organization in 2007, he held a variety of senior financial roles in the consumer goods, hospitality, food and linen service industries with Unilever, the National Caterers/Coast Hotels Group, Cara Operations and Booth Centennial Healthcare Linen Services.
John holds a CMA designation and a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Natal in South Africa.
Christine Donaldson, BScPhm, RPh
Vice President, Pharmacy
Christine principals HealthPRO’s Pharmacy portfolio, leading the procurement of pharmaceuticals on behalf of more than 1,300 hospitals across the country. In this role, Christine works collaboratively with members, suppliers, industry associations and all levels of government to spearhead strategic initiatives designed to maximize savings and promote assurance of supply and patient safety.
Prior to joining HealthPRO, Christine was Director of Pharmacy Services at Windsor Regional Hospital, where she oversaw pharmacy operations for inpatient pharmacies across two acute care campuses, the regional cancer centre pharmacy and chemotherapy suite, as well as three accredited outpatient pharmacies.
Christine has a Bachelor of Science degree (Pharmacy) from the University of Toronto and a Master’s degree in Adult Education, and is a Council Member for the Ontario College of Pharmacists.
Krista Stagliano, CSCMP
Vice President, Materials Management
As Vice President of Materials Management at HealthPRO, Krista leads several business units under the Materials Management portfolio, including Clinical, Support Services, Nutrition and Food Services, Capital Equipment and Signature Services. In this capacity, she drives new strategies to deliver the best value to members.
Prior to joining HealthPRO in 2007, Krista managed group purchasing for the Newfoundland and Labrador Health Boards Association. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Memorial University of Newfoundland and a CSCMP designation from the Supply Chain Management Association (SCMA). She has previously served on the provincial and national Boards of the SCMA.
Vice President, Member Support
Liana leads a national team in providing local, customized support to members across the country, ensuring they derive maximum benefit from their membership. The team provides support throughout the entire lifecycle of the contract including customized reporting, clinical engagement, implementation and product quality support.
Prior to joining HealthPRO in 2007, Liana built 25 years of experience with Baxter Canada and Source Medical, where she specialized in healthcare supply chain management and led the successful implementation of the first Canadian stockless inventory programs, as well as the development of value-added supply chain services for hospitals.
Liana holds a Bachelor of Science degree (with Honours) from Laurentian University and is a board member of the Healthcare Supply Chain Network (HSCN).
Vice President, Marketing and Communications
Jennifer is responsible for defining and articulating HealthPRO’s brand and overseeing communications to members and other key stakeholders.
Prior to joining HealthPRO in 2012, she held several management positions in leading public relations firms, where she developed marketing and communications campaigns for national and international brands.
Jennifer holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Marketing and a Public Relations certificate from Concordia University in Montreal.
