HealthPRO creates resource to help members comply with Accreditation Canada’s new wording for Medication Management Standard 13.9
Accreditation Canada has released new wording for Medication Management Standard 13.9. stating that using multidose vials for a single client reduces the risk of cross-contamination and the spread of infection.
To assist members in complying with the new standard, HealthPRO’s Product Evaluation team has prepared a spreadsheet that identifies vials as multidose, single-dose or single-use based on product monograph, labelling or confirmation from the supplier.

To assist members in complying with the new standard, HealthPRO’s Product Evaluation team has prepared a spreadsheet that identifies vials as multidose, single-dose or single-use based on product monograph, labelling or confirmation from the supplier.
The spreadsheet is now available to all members on the HealthPRO Portal under “Resources”.
