Commitment in Advance: A cornerstone to achieving best contract value
HealthPRO contracts deliver savings for members through our national purchasing volumes. Those volumes are driven by HealthPRO’s advance commitment strategy which requests that members commit to a contract in advance of the Request for Proposal (RFP) being issued to suppliers.
When suppliers receive an invitation to respond to a HealthPRO RFP, they already know which healthcare facilities have committed in advance and will participate in the ensuing contracts. The higher the level of commitment, the more competitive the market becomes, thereby driving even better value for all members.
HealthPRO's contract for Miscellaneous Frequent-Use Clinical Care Products is currently open for advance commitment and several Med-Surg contracts will also be open for commitment in the coming weeks.
The Med-Surg survey will be available early to mid-December and will include more than 30 contracts including:
- Suction & Drainage
- Med surg products
- Personal Care
