Shaping Canada's Healthcare Future: Advocacy in Action
HealthPRO Canada continues to advocate on behalf of its Members and Partners, by participating in impactful discussions with government representatives across the country to help shape the future of Canada’s healthcare system.
Driving Innovation in Alberta's Healthcare Supply ChainHealthPRO Canada led an Innovation Roundtable with the Honourable Minister of Health Adriana LaGrange to uncover barriers to innovation in Alberta. Next, we will work to identify solutions to overcome some of the key challenges - clinical overwork, operational and budgetary silos, and regulatory red tape - for the system at large. We thank the Minister of Health for sharing her valuable insights, and we extend our heartfelt thanks to our Partner, Alberta Innovates for hosting this impactful event.
Deputy Minister of Health, Deborah Richardson visited our headquarters
Deputy Minister Richardson commended HealthPRO Canada for its innovative approaches to contracting, strategies to safeguard Ontario from supply disruptions, and savings generated for Ontario through national collective buying power of $1.1B and $61M dividends returned in 2023/24.
Discussions also focused on future opportunities to drive additional value to Ontario’s healthcare system.
These interactions and events strengthen our relationships with key government decision-makers, highlighting our dedication to driving innovation and efficiency in the healthcare supply chain across Canada. We look forward to building upon this momentum and continue working collaboratively to positively impact patient care in Canada.
