Last month, HealthPRO and Health Proc Europe launched Project PROcure, a global coalition committed to improve sustainability and innovation in healthcare.

Our aim is to unite public and private healthcare procurers throughout Europe and North America and empower them to shape the future of healthcare procurement for a sustainable future, guided by UN Global Compact/ Sustainable Development (SDG) Goals, The European Principles for the Environment, Canada’s Net Zero Emissions by 2050 goal and other international treaties/agreements.

The coalition focuses on using innovative services and products to provide state-of-the-art solutions, on the path to Sustainable Public Procurement (SPP).

Project PROcure will seek to empower procurement professionals to make a difference by:

• Bridging gaps in expertise
• Increasing transparency
• Energizing organizational leadership
• Promoting sustainable products/services to purchase
• Bolstering innovation across the healthcare sector
• Building a digital community of best practices
