Helping Domestic Suppliers Compete, Prosper and Thrive
As governments and healthcare facilities across the country actively seek to secure access to critical medical supplies and medications by supporting domestic manufacturing, HealthPRO recognizes the need to ensure they are sustainable.
On April 15th, to help support new and emerging local suppliers, we hosted a webinar where we shared:
- Basics of our regulatory healthcare environment
- Strategies we have adopted to allow these businesses gain a foothold in the market
- Helpful resources to help get suppliers started
Below, we’re pleased to share a copy of the presentation and a number of helpful resources. We encourage suppliers to book a 30-minute Meet and Greet with our team to discuss specific opportunities that may be available to you!

Trade Agreements & Procurement Regulations
Publicly funded organizations or organizations contracting on their behalf (HealthPRO), must comply with all applicable provincial and regional regulations and trade agreements. Although procurement regulations exist in all provinces, Ontario’s Broader Public Sector (BPS) Procurement Directive is the most rigorous – by complying with BPS, we meet all other provincial regulations.
