HealthPRO Canada Partners with Local Authority Services to Drive Cost Savings for Ontario Municipalities

LAS AMO Partnership

HealthPRO Canada is pleased to announce a strategic partnership with Local Authority Services (LAS) to help Ontario municipalities achieve cost savings and operational efficiencies through cooperative procurement.

LAS is a not-for-profit organization established by the Association of Municipalities of Ontario (AMO) with a long-standing commitment to supporting municipalities and the broader public sector. Through collaborative purchasing, innovative training, and tailored programs, LAS helps local governments reduce costs, build internal capacity, and improve service delivery.

By partnering with LAS, HealthPRO Canada extends its proven national procurement expertise to municipalities navigating complex challenges, from housing affordability, homelessness, the opioid crisis, emergency medical services and long-term care demands.

“Municipalities across Ontario are facing increasing financial pressures, especially when it comes to healthcare-related procurement,” said Judy Dezell, Director of the AMO Enterprise Centre, Business Partnerships, and LAS. “Through this partnership with HealthPRO Canada, LAS is giving municipalities access to national healthcare contracts that can help manage costs, improve efficiencies, and strengthen community health services.”

This collaboration underscores a shared commitment to supporting public sector teams with practical, value-driven solutions. With HealthPRO Canada’s extensive contract portfolio, including services already supporting over 2,000 healthcare facilities, including 530 long-term care homes and 120 EMS teams, Ontario municipalities will now have greater access to cost-effective tools and resources that help communities thrive.
