Last month, HealthPRO Canada met with Spirit Healthcare Group to explore areas of partnership, discuss Indigenous reconciliation and our shared values. During this meeting, we identified opportunities to collaborate on upcoming contract opportunities and leverage their distribution services. We were truly inspired by the words of CEO Heather Berthelette and their unwavering commitment to care over commerce. We look forward to meaningful collaborations that will drive positive impact and strengthen communities.

Spirit Healthcare is dedicated to giving back by reinvesting a portion of its profits into the communities they serve, reinforcing their mission to improve local health and wellness. 

Among Spirit Healthcare’s offerings, the Spirit Meter is their best-selling product. This hand-held glucose monitor, paired with Spirit lancets and strips, empowers individuals with diabetes to effectively manage and track their blood glucose levels. A portion of the profits from the Spirit strips directly funds programs like the Gestational Diabetes Initiative, which educates and supports Indigenous communities in managing this chronic condition. 

As Spirit Healthcare continues to expand, they are focused on enhancing distribution capabilities, working toward national availability of their products, and supporting the distribution of other manufacturers’ products.
