HealthPRO Canada News
From the Desk of Christine

Recent developments in the Middle East are creating uncertainty across global trade and transportation routes, and situations like this naturally raise questions about potential impacts to healthcare supply chains.
At HealthPRO Canada, we are taking a proactive approach. Our team has activated our supply chain monitoring process and is working directly with supplier partners and Health Canada to assess any potential exposure.
Our Pharmacy team is reviewing the source of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) used in critical medications on contract to identify whether any manufacturing ties exist in the region or may be impacted. At the same time, our Clinical Products team is connecting with suppliers to confirm inventory levels, manufacturing locations, and contingency plans should logistics routes be disrupted.
We have also established a cross-functional task force across our sourcing, pharmacy, and supply chain teams to monitor developments closely and act quickly if conditions change.
At this time, there are no known disruptions to supply. If that changes, we will communicate with members promptly and share practical strategies to help maintain continuity of care.
This work reflects the role we aim to play every day. We do not simply source products. We help our members anticipate risk, navigate complexity, and build more resilient supply chains to ensure patients receive the highest level of care.
Thank you, as always, for the trust you place in HealthPRO Canada.
Warm regards,
Christine Donaldson
