As we move into February, I want to begin by saying thank you for the trust you place in us, and for the opportunity to work alongside you in advancing healthcare for patients across Canada. 

This year has already started with meaningful momentum. Our team has been on the ground, connecting with stakeholders across the country, engaging directly with procurement specialists and health system leaders to listen, learn, and better understand the pressures and priorities shaping care delivery today. From conversations with Members in Ontario to engaging health leaders in Alberta during a period of significant system change, these interactions continue to reinforce how valuable collaboration, transparency, and being present truly are. 

What we consistently hear is that our approach makes a difference. Listening with intention, responding thoughtfully, and delivering results builds confidence and creates real value. That feedback reinforces our commitment to being a trusted, world-class procurement partner, one that supports Members and Suppliers not just through contracts, but by enabling care and strengthening the systems patients rely on every day. 

Together, we are making progress across our strategic pillars of world-class procurement, data-driven insights, and strong stakeholder networks. From new sourcing initiatives and deepening supplier engagement, to expanding our analytics capabilities and launching collaborative forums like the National Healthcare Innovation Council, this work is only possible because of the partnerships we share with you. 

As we look ahead, the intentions set at the start of the year are becoming a strong foundation for what’s to come. My personal focus this year is on being present, showing up fully, listening with purpose, and ensuring that our decisions and actions remain aligned with our shared purpose of advancing Canadian health. I am deeply appreciative of the opportunity to continue this work together and excited about what we can achieve through ongoing collaboration. 

Thank you for your continued partnership and for the important role you play in improving healthcare for patients across Canada. I’m looking forward to what we will continue to achieve together in the year ahead.
