Creating even better contracts through national multi-disciplinary engagement
Earlier this month, HealthPRO brought together member clinicians and procurement professionals from across the country for its Clinical Contract Advisory Committee (CCAC) meeting.
During the meeting, committee members engaged in strategic collaboration to provide input into contract strategy, develop clinical criteria and perform hands-on product validations for various HealthPRO Clinical Services contracts.
“The opportunity to be part of an initiative that aims to improve patient care and clinical outcomes is an important undertaking and I’m glad HealthPRO continues to facilitate this collaboration on a national level,” notes Jill Smith, Clinical Lead, Shared Support Services Southeastern Ontario (3SO).
As always, the committee members also benefitted from time to network with their peers, a unique opportunity afforded by HealthPRO’s national scale.
“I learned so much and feel so thankful I was able to connect with my colleagues and contribute to the group as a whole,” shared Christie Tuttosi, Regional Wound Care Coordinator, Clinical Programs, Prairie Mountain Health.
The next CCAC meeting is scheduled for spring 2019.
