Alex Alexander, PhD, MD

With more than 20 years of experience in digital health, data analytics, and IT strategy, Alex delivers data-driven healthcare solutions for HealthPRO Canada’s broad group of valued stakeholders.

Prior to joining HealthPRO Canada, Alex served as a trusted advisor for Alberta Health and the Ministry of Justice and Solicitor General. He has worked with multinational pharmaceutical companies to develop advanced bioanalytical solutions, and held the role of Provincial Health Analytics Officer and Executive Director of Analytics for the Ministry of Health in Alberta.

Alex holds a PhD in Radiobiology, Machine Learning, as well as a Doctor of Medicine degree, and is an active member of the Canadian Medical Association and the Medical Council of Canada.
