HealthPRO is pleased to announce overall savings of 13.4% over 14 contracts in its recent Clinical contract awards. Of special note: a 15% savings in a new supplier contract for surgical drapes/gowns packs.

This round of contracts will take effect on June 1, 2009. Members will receive a post-award contract summary shortly.

Pharmacy Contract Awards

Pharmacy Services is happy to report that once again significant savings were achieved for the new contracts that officially take effect on June 1, 2009. “Thanks to a combination of significant savings on our multi-source contracts and very moderate single-source product pricing increases, we have achieved excellent overall results for our members,” notes Kathy  Boyle, VP Services.

More good news:

• Our new Post Award Assessment Service (PAAS) proactively identifies any features of newly awarded products that differ from the previous product, so that members have time to plan any changes they will need to make to accommodate the new product;
• HealthPRO’s recently-enhanced web-based contract management software - HealthPROCONNECT offers members many new options for sorting and downloading contract data.
