The hospital corporations within Ontario’s South West Local Health Integration Network (LHIN) have selected HealthPRO as their GPO of choice as they review opportunities to establish a Shared Service Organization (SSO) to serve the needs of the Network’s service provider organizations.

“A key role for HealthPRO will be to partner with the South West LHIN in a supply chain implementation analysis,” says Mike Rosser, General Manager, HMMS (Healthcare Material Management Services). “The purpose is to demonstrate how the hospitals in this LHIN can collaborate to generate further savings and efficiencies through an integrated supply chain management shared services model. We look forward to leveraging HealthPRO’s experience and purchasing power as a successful, national GPO”.
“Through product and service standardization, increased volumes and the level of contract commitment inherent in the shared services model, we are confident that we will be able to deliver optimum value for the South West LHIN,” says Liana Scott, VP Member Support.
“We understand the complexity of multi-site operations,” she adds. “Our dedicated Member Support business unit allows us to provide comprehensive, customized support. Our founding philosophy of flexible commitment and our ability to negotiate ‘sole source’ supplier awards also demonstrate, time and again, that we can achieve the best possible value for our members. We are very pleased that the South West LHIN has chosen to build on their existing relationship with HealthPRO to achieve their objectives.”
