HealthPRO has established its group purchasing activities on the single philosophy of commitment. Honouring this commitment will ensure that both HealthPRO Members and the Supplier community alike, benefit from participation in the Services of HealthPRO.

Each of the Services which HealthPRO offers allows flexibility for individual facilities to choose whether they wish to participate in any or all of HealthPRO’s contracts. To determine which facilities will be participating in each contract, Members are asked to commit in advance to one of the following options;

“Option A” The Member facility agrees to commit and/or to commit upon expiry of an existing non-HealthPRO contract.

The Member facility is obligated to purchase 100% of its requirements from the committed HealthPRO contracts for any and all items listed within the contracts.

Commitment to selected contract or contracts will commence on the effective date of the HealthPRO contract unless and existing non-HealthPRO contract expiry date is indicated.

“Option B” The Member facility elects not to commit to this agreement.

This commitment form is the basis of our Request for Proposal.

When contracts are awarded the successful Supplier is issued a list of those facilities who have indicated “Option A”. These are the only hospitals that are eligible for the HealthPRO contract pricing. HealthPRO is committed to assisting our Suppliers with compliance to these contracts.

Those hospitals who have selected “Option B” are not eligible to receive the same benefits as those who have committed to participate in the contracts.
