HealthPRO works with member hospitals and
pharmaceutical suppliers to ensure a fair and equitable
contract awards process and to remove unnecessary costs from
the supply chain. Contracts and services are awarded for
the highest quality products, at the best possible value for
each and all of the member hospitals.
The HealthPRO Pharmacy Service offers
over 1000 contracts covering approximately 3700 product lines
and is currently valued at over $366 Million.
This represents the largest group purchasing volume in Canada.
Pharmacy Services is supported by in-house Pharmacists and
professional support staff who understand the daily operations
and special requirements of a busy pharmacy department.
PAC provides professional and drug distribution expertise in the selection of pharmaceutical products and suppliers that meet product quality, cost, trade terms and service requirements of participating facilities.
PAC ensures that group contracts for pharmaceuticals and pharmacy related products or services are awarded for high quality at the best possible value.
PAC ensures regional representation in the decision making process and to facilitate communication between the HealthPRO-BCHS Alliance and its members, in all aspects of purchasing and related issues.
